Let Marinakis Tours, which was founded in 2000, assist you in the most beautiful Santorini experience. Our staff can offer all the essentials of the perfect holiday: exceptional value for money, destination knowledge and attention to detail. The agency generously provides pick up from and to your cruise ship, the airport or your hotel. Let's get started!

Our journey begins from Fira or we may pick you up from your hotel or cruise ship and we stroll to discover the hidden gems of the caldera and take pictures. Afterwards, we proceed to visit the beautiful village of Firostefani where we will enjoy the caldera and admire the view of Therasia, a beautiful island and debris of the old Santorini, the Volcano, the mountain Skaros which is protected by UNESCO and the numerous blue-roofed churches. The journey continues to Imerovigli where we can see and take pictures of the caves, the place where the old inhabitants of the island used to live. Then, we head to the edge of Imerovigli to see the well-known Skaros, an UNESCO protected mountain that really floats in the air and take pictures of the region. On the way to Oia, we can witness red, black and yellow volcanic lava on the left side of the mini bus. On the right side we see the Caldera and the Aegean Sea and the second volcano of the island, Columbo, which is underwater. Visiting Oia, we see many old, blue-roofed traditional churches, old houses, traditional coffee shops, boutiques and art galleries and you get the chance to try a bite of the traditional Greek baklava as you drink your coffee. We head to the old Venetian Castle which is located on the edge of the island to admire the beautiful view of Oia and take some time to visit the local shops (optional choice). We head to the southern part of the island to see the following villages and the island's highest point, where the Prophet Elias Monastery is perched at almost 2,000 feet (600 m), enjoy the scenic view of the island and take photos for about 15'. Then we head to the village of Pyrgos where we will take a stroll to see the blue-roofed churches, the caves and the Venetian Castle for many amazing photos for about 30'. Then we visit Santo Wines, a traditional Santorini winery, and grasp the opportunity to sample the local wine. Afterwards we head to Akrotiri, a traditional village of 150 people where the well-known Red beach and the archaeological city are located (the archaeological sightseeing is optional). Then we head to Perissa, the most beautiful Black Beach in Europe and make a stop for some coffee, Greek lunch or a snack and swimming. After this marvelous tour, we get you back to your hotel or the destination of your choice.

Great time in Santorini

We had a great time and tour of Santorini sights with our guide Nikolas, who personalized the wonderful experience for our group of four ladies every step of the way. He is knowledgeable and accommodating, and ensured we got from place to place safely. We were very pleased with all the insider information he shared about his island, and were delighted to have him join us for lunch and wine tasting. He managed to manuever around the more crowed places with ease, and gave us first-hand insider views of the highlights of the island. All in all, we would highly recommend Nikolas and his tour! , A great experience!, Well organized!, Wonderful experience!, Our guide was awesome!, Wonderful experience!

Great tour of Santorini!

Nickolas picked us up from our AirB&B location, showed us his beautiful island, and then dropped us off in town for lunch. Highly recommend!

Santorini 6-hour tour

Santorini is a beautiful, unique place. This tour allows one to see a lot of the island. We felt the place was magical. There were a couple of things that detracted from the tour. There wasn't time to see Akrotiri or the black sand beach. Twice I asked for assurance that we would be back at the tram by 3:00. Both times I was assured we would be. But we didn't get back till 3:30. We had just enough time to catch the last shuttles back to the ship. stated in the description we stopped for baklava, and we stopped for a wine-tasting at Santo. I figured we would have to pay for those, though the description could be construed to think they were included in the tour. That is fine, but I didn't expect to pay for the tour guide's coffee at the first place or her glass of wine at the second place. Again, I didn't mind, but a thank you would have been appropriate, I think, and we didn't get that. All that being said, I very much liked our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable about the island. All in all a great experience, but would have been better with better time management.

Marinakis Tours

Dear customer, We would like to thank you for the time that you spent in order to make a comment for our excursion, this is very important for us because we always try to get better. Though,at your first stop for baklava in Oia the guide's coffee was free from the coffee shop and it was written on your receipt as a discount.Additionaly, she offered to pay for her glass of wine when you were to the winery and you politely told her that it was on you.Unfortunately there are a lot of factors which may affect the time management, such as the traffic and the time that we spend at a spot that we may enjoy more.Allow me to inform you that we visited Akrotiri,Red beach is located there.Αs far as the black beach is concerned it is true that we didn't make it to be there on time but the guide offered to get you there without extra charge. However, the most important fact for us is that you enjoyed your time there and you are satisfied from your tour.We would like to apologize for everything that may didn't like you and for any missunderstanding that may happened. We hope to have the chance to serve you better next time.Thank you very much.
