The Romantic Catamaran Cruise is the most luxurious one you can find on the island of Santorini. This cruise is tailor-made for a honeymoon or any other special occasion as it is fit for a king

The large Lagoon 560 or Ipanema 58 catamaran, whose capacity is 20 passengers, offer a premium semi-private excursion around the idyllic island and its hot spots. This cruise is tailor-made for a honeymoon or any other special occasion as it is fit for a king. Treat yourselves like royalty and enjoy living in the lap of luxury for 5 hours. Free Wi-Fi, a helpful map, snorkeling equipment, towels and jackets are available on board.

This cruise is ideal for guests staying in Oia and Imerovigli hotels as it departs from Ammoudi port and returns back there as well. Pick up and drop off service from all hotels in Santorini is included in the price. Passengers can choose between the morning tour that starts at 09:15 and the sunset tour that starts at 14:15.

The first stop is at the hot springs of the island’s world renowned volcano that own healing properties. There you can take pleasure in a therapeutic mud bath and gaze at the extraordinary natural beauty all around you. Later, as the luxury liner sails past the nearby Aspronisi Island and Akrotiri village, you will admire the beautiful ancient lighthouse and a spectacular rock formation on the caldera cliffs called Indian Rock. The next stop is at Red Beach, a wondrous landscape with staggering reddish cliffs and pebbles, for swimming and snorkeling.

The final stop is at the remote White Beach, a peaceful cove with crystal clear-waters, ideal for swimming. The catamaran will anchor there so that you can take delight in a palatable onboard barbeque lunch or dinner. The Greek menu, which is especially prepared on spot for you by the crew, includes Greek salad, shrimp saganaki, grilled chicken and pork skewers, roasted vegetables, pasta with red sauce and stuffed vine leaves accompanied by a selection of drinks including, of course, the white Santorinian wine (vegetarian meal also available).

The sunset tour features one special extra stop in order to relish the captivating sunset below the village of Oia where the landscape along with the sunset colors create a sight that is out of this world.

Catamaran Sunset Cruise.

We really enjoyed this experience. Had a really good afternoon. Its Very nice boat. spacious and comfortable. large and felt very safe. The Crewe were very good. Quite a nice BBQ and drinks plentiful if you want them. We opted to pay extra for a boat with only 18 people on, which with Covid, given our age was right for us and whilst we are quite sociable, we are also quite private people, it was right for us. Did not want a boat with 40 people or whatever, on and booze cruise. We did enjoy a few cans of Alpha though I must say. There were 8 other couples, all nice people, some quite a lot younger, different nationalities. It was a nice mix. We were staying in Oia, so able to enjoy the wonderful view of the Caldera every day from our hotel terrace and the sunset from the village, but it was great to see the village from the sea and the coastline. Its always enjoyable being on the water, with the sun beating down but a breeze also. We were picked up from a meeting point, very close to our hotel and dropped back fairly close. We were on a mini coach, all wearing masks. Things to know. After the Cruise, Port Amoudi, is VERY busy, almost mad, as all the other cruises and people are coming ashore and all getting on mini buses / mini coaches at the same time. I gave this 4 stars, not 5, because I think it could have been just a bit better. Whilst are on the water at Port Amoudi, watching the sunset, you arrive with lots of other boats all at the same time, all rushing to get there and not miss the sun go a down. I imagined we would be sat there for sort of 15 minutes, taking it all in, its all a very rushed at the end, , which is a shame as we had been out for quite a few hours building up to the sunset and whilst you are sailing (never saw a Catamran with its sail up in week I was there though I must say ) into the sun, which is quite impressive. you arrive just in the nick of time. Thought it was good value for money. We could have done the same thing cheaper, if we wanted to be on a boat the same sort of size, with 2 or 3 times amount of people.

NOT as Described..Romantic Sunset Cruise

I quote from their website.."This cruise is tailor-made for a honeymoon or any other special occasion as it is fit for a king. Treat yourselves like royalty and enjoy living in the lap of luxury.." In NO WAY was this true. When I booked, I chose the option to add a Note, as it WAS a SPECIAL OCCASION (my Husband's 60th Birthday). The Crew did NOTHING. The boat was ok, NOT luxurious & NOT big. One couple chose this cruise, because they'd been on it last year & they thought they'd get the same glorious boat that they got last time, but NO (they described this one as C... In comparison! The food was less than mediocre, pork was NOT on skewers & was fatty. There were NO "Roasted Vegetables" & the white wine seemed to be watered down. The inner part of the boat had table seating, I went to find a place there to eat & was abruptly told not to! The 1st stop for swimming was at the "hot"springs, NOT hot where (I quote again).. "you can take pleasure in a therapeutic mud bath & gaze at the extraordinary natural beauty". WHAT MUD BATH? The CREW did NOT show any interest, especially the main crew member, a girl (very UNFRIENDLY). There was a short safety briefing before setting off & we were told what we could or could not do. The crew were described as "guides" but did NOT give any commentaries on places we passed or stopped at all. Once, they sailed close to a cave & stopped, but the crew said NOTHING! LUCKILY, the passengers were pleasant, nice fun-loving folk, who made an effort & were the reason we managed to enjoy & make something of the 60th Birthday. This was the 2nd highest priced Sunset Cruise, I wanted quality & fewer numbers. The only thing that WAS as described was the MAX 20 folk allowed...(There WAS exactly 20). Fit for a King?? ..What a joke!
