Since I was a little child, all I can remember is being involved with tourism, since I was born in one of the most famous and historic islands, Santorini . At Emborio village I grew up next to my grandparent's houses, which hold great value to me and I decided to rejuvenate them and turn them into Hariton Villas. The guests can experience a local way of how people used to live but also with all the modern facilities and comforts.
If you want a real and traditional stay, then Hariton Villas are for you. Every corner of the houses involve a piece of history and memories. Nestled in Emborio, a picturesque village, 7 km away from Fira, Hariton Villas have a south-west orientation to enjoy the famous sunset .
This settlement is unique and is addressed to guests who want something different, something more vital and authentic. An open invitation to witness some of the most wonderful natural wonders, like the sunset and the starry sky at the heated swimming pool on the roof of “Hariton Villas”.

The village of Emporio is the largest village in Santorini and it is located in the south part of the island, only 12 kilometers away from Fira town, the capital of Santorini. It is built at the foothills of Prophet Elias Mountain, and we could say that the paths at one of its sections create a beautiful maze, full of traditional buildings with different shapes and colors. Close to Emporio lies the beautiful Perissa village, at only 3 kilometers distance, and its amazing Perissa beach with its black volcanic landscape.
The name “Emporio” means “trade” in Greek, and they say that in the past years the village used to be the center of trade on the island. Moreover, in the heart of the village, you will find beautiful traditional houses with small nice yards and renovated hotels, as well as one of the five fortified castles of Santorini, the medieval Kasteli, surrounded by narrow alleys, great for perfect afternoon relaxing strolls.
