The beauty of Oia is matchless. It is undoubtedly the best place to watch the sunset in Santorini. You can never get tired of watching Palaia and Nea Kameni islets glistening in the clear blue waters as the sun dips into the Aegean Sea. Oia also has the famous Ammoudi port, where you can enjoy freshly cooked seafood.
Restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and wine houses serving delicious food and beverages are scattered throughout the village. There are also plenty of shops to buy stylish clothes, authentic artifacts, and souvenirs from.
There is nothing better than staying among the whitewashed houses in one of the most famous villages of Santorini and overlooking the majestic water-filled Caldera with your friends and loved ones.

So let’s start with all the good because there is some incredible aspects of our stay. The views are unreal and one of the best on the island. This is really where 60% of your money is going IMO. Staff, the staff was incredible and accommodating in trying to make our stay great. The breakfast was also excellent along with the location being outside of the heavy touristy areas but close enough. However, when we stayed our AC didn’t work and we got very little sleep as it was 28 degrees and 80% humidity in our room. They had someone coming the day we were leaving to fix it but at over 700 dollars a night this is a not acceptable and sleep is really the start of having a great day on the island. I was auspices sometime of room compensation/ discount but they apologized and said they would have somebody fix it for the next group. Also at 700 a night I felt like a few minor things could be updated, for example they have some of the cheapest shower heads of any place we stayed in Greece and was the most expensive. I also felt like door trims could be touched up and pool could be updated during off season but maybe that’s be picky. Overall very unique place and if they got things working as they should would be a great place to spend your holiday!
We stayed at the Antiquarian House and you have a beautiful view of the caldera as well as a picturesque view of the famous Oia buildings. Service is top notch and breakfast is delicious. Would highly recommend!
Our sons stayed here while we stayed next door at a different propety. The views are tops! The breakfast on the patio was gorgeous and abundant, very authentic- many other places cater to a Northern European continental breakfast. The staff were warm and efficient, and you really felt they cared to make the stay as lovely as possible. The decor, reading materials in reception, artwork, felt deliberately modern and refined. There was an amazing amount of space in the “Collector’s”- plenty for the 5 of them, well appointed spacious bathrooms. Understandably with the amount of travelers in and out the rooms were clean though worn (rustic charm, lumpy beds). The only downside would be that the patio overlooked someone else’s patio, which diminished the feeling of privacy (more for them than our guys). Santorini is gorgeous, but the crowded nature, limited space (people on top of people), and overwhelmingly non-Greek travelers can make it feel like you are residing in a giant non-moving cruise ship. Ikies did a very good job of providing an elevated atmosphere.
Beautiful caldera views, wonderful, accommodating staff, and excellent breakfast options. Loved every minute!
