Fresh. Great atmosphere. Attentive service. Grilled Mushroom was good. Pork was a bit dry. Fish was delicious. I highly recommend.
When we go on vacation we look for our home away from home bar and hang out, Meze Meze is it!! Traveling for our sister trip, we decided to rate the Tzatziki at each location we stopped, yes we ordered it everywhere we went! Here we rated it a 9.9 overall, dip and pita bread......by the time you read this I'm on my third order and have pushed it up to a 10 I'm sure!! Here we found a genius artist bartender, George and watching his artistic movement as he made our drinks was half of the experience and the flavor of that artistic detial shows as your taste buds cheer with each drink you take!! The service is unmatched, and in a place where service is top notch to begin with that is saying alot. Our server, Pantelis should be an instructor to all who work on the island! Oh, and his music playlist is the best! Food is amazing. I could go on and on but rather than waste the time reading this go spend your time in our favorite of the season!
We had the pork Souvlaki with the "platter" which consist of many Greek specialty dips, they were all veryyy good!! The service was good too, my husband went and visit the wine cellar and was very impressed. I strongly recommend!!
After an ordeal I finally landed in finikia , Santorini . The owner there suggested a "tavern" for my dinner, as that's what I had intended of doing. This place was posh with a 2 page menu ( choices next to nil) , extremely over priced ( a tiny tentacle of octopus was sold on a splattering of fava for €19). The food was average , the risotto with ink squid and mussels was half cooked and quite stinky It was a disappointment.
