About
It is always pleasing when you stumble upon a hidden gastronomic gem on holiday and for anybody heading to Akrotiri village, The Dolphins Restaurant fits the bill perfectly! The family-run joint has been serving fresh seafood for almost 30 years but is just as adept at classic dishes as the more contemporary side of Greek cuisine. In an ideal location near the sea, every visitor enjoys a dining experience based only on fresh fish and products from Santorini, as well as a traditional wine selection.
Our Santorinian wine list is ever-evolving as we find new favorites, and we love nothing more than to share our passion for great drinks with old friends and new ones. With great respect for the Greek culture around food and drink, you will also find great hospitality work every day – all day to provide you with the best possible authentic dining experience. Take a seat in the restaurant shaded outdoors next to the Aegean blue sea and get ready for a feast to remember, and admire the most beautiful sunset of your life!

Simply wow!!! A family owned excellent & authentic Greek food restaurant. The food is not only tasty, the owners are very kind and recommended us local food we had no tried before. Thank you to everyone at Dolphins and especially to Kostas for all the lovely attentions. We will be back!
The scenery is amazing, great view and peaceful atmosphere. The waiters come across as less sympathetic than on the rest of the island. We found the food was good but not as good and more expensive than places nearby. For the lobster spaghetti, you should go to Cave of Nicolas nextdoor where we found it was a bigger portion but cheaper. The scenery at the dolphins is amazing.
Stopped by here whilst exploring the area and glad we did! We had the grilled pandora and swordfish, we’ve never had these types of fish before and they were amazing! Both dishes were really well cooked. The home made vinsanto wine is a MUST try, at the end of our meal we were given a complimentary dessert with their homemade grapes. Yum
This typical seafood Greek restaurant is conveniently situated between the prehistorical ruins and the red beach. It offers a great sea view with some tables located on a small pier. The food overall was pretty good and tasty, although a bit pricey. It's a nice place for a lunch break when visiting the surroundings.
