The excursion begins either from the main port of Santorini, Athinios or from the picturesque Old port of Santorini. The Old Port is only accessible by cable car, which is the most common way as it takes only 3 minutes to go down, otherwise, you have to descend 587 steps on foot.
Important note: You need to pay an additional fee of 6 € per trip for the cable car ride.

Gialos, the Old Port, lies below Fira, nestled at the foot of a rocky cliff. The steep slopes of the Caldera will leave you amazed as you catch a glimpse of the tiny port nestled beneath towering rocks and seemingly suspended cave houses. Upon arrival, your excursion guides will be waiting to provide you with important information and lead you to the boat. For any additional information or clarifications, please do not hesitate to visit our travel agency, Santo Star Travel, located at the port.

Volcano

Our first destination will be the famous volcano of Santorini! After sailing for 20 minutes, we will reach Nea Kammeni’s jetty. Should you be interested to be guided to the volcano, you have to pay 5 € per person as an entrance fee. Afterward, you will walk to the volcano’s ridge with your guide who is going to explain everything there is, about the history and the geology of the volcano. You will stay at the volcanic island for 1.5 hours and, after that, you will embark again for the next stop.

Hot Springs

Our next stop will be the island of Palaia Kammeni, where the famous hot springs are located on the west side, a place that is really popular for its thermal waters. We will stop there for 30 minutes at a distance of 30 meters from the shallow waters of Agios Nicholaos Beach where you will have to swim that distance (30m) to reach the springs. Take a dive off the boat and feel the warmth of these extraordinary waters. The waters are also full of sulfur, iron, and other metals coming from the volcano and they are very good for the skin, rheumatism, arthritis, and other physical aches.
Important Note: In order to reach Agios Nikolaos Beach, it is essential to know how to swim extremely well.

Dinner on Board

Sailing above the underwater craters from Palaia Kammeni to Therasia Island, the boat will anchor close to the island in order to allow you to enjoy your dinner. Our experienced staff will prepare everything for you so all you need to do is relax and enjoy our Greek delicious buffet while capturing amazing photos of the Aegean Sea.

  • Chicken fillet with vegetables and mustard sauce
  • Meatballs (beef, chicken), in tomato sauce
  • Rice
  • Greek salad
  • Boiled vegetables
  • Tzatziki sauce (cucumber, yogurt, garlic)
  • Bread
  • Seasonal fruit
  • Halva
  • Local wine

Sunset on Board

The end of the excursion comes at sunset time. Aphrodite sets sail and the sun dives into the sea in the northernmost part of the island. Our boat will stop below Oia village where you will have the chance to watch the warm light of the setting sun under the violet sky before the night falls. This is the most unforgettable experience as the Caldera and the village of Oia turn into gold colors. Your trip with Aphrodite in this sanctuary of romance is going to be in your memories and your hearts forever!

Excellent day & evening sunset cruise

We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunset cruise. We visited the volcano & hot springs. Then had a lovely Greek style meal with wine. Watching the stunning sunset & sailing on the cruise was so relaxing & fun. Would highly recommend to be able to see the sunset from the boat & the amazing Santorini views from the sea.

A boat trip with everything

We had a really nice day with Ulysees and his crew. Highlight was diving off the boat and lunch in the bay of Thirasia. A nicely paced day and not overly crowded when we went. Hiking up the Nea Kamani volcano was also a pretty unique experience too.

Great trip

A really nice day would recommend if u want a boat trip to book this as it had a good combination of swimming and touring. If u are not good at walking I would not get off the boat to visit the volcano. The food was really tasty. Don't go expecting much wine as the glasses are really smalll and only served with food so just factor in drinks. Still worth booking though
