Bookings through us signify your acceptance of the terms and conditions of our site and the respective accommodation/tour provider. Santorini View, as owned by Atlantis Software P.C. trading as "ATLANTIS SOFTWARE E-SERVICES" travel agency licensed by the Greek National Tourism Organization with registry number ΜΗ.Τ.Ε. 0206E70000659501 (collectively, "we" or "us"), is maintained for your personal use and viewing. Access and use of this site by you, constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. This takes effect from the date on which you first use this website.

The material on this site is subject to copyright protection in respect of us unless otherwise indicated. Copyright protected material may be reproduced free of charge in any format or medium for research, private study, or internal circulation within an organization. This is subject to the material being reproduced accurately and not used in a misleading context. Where any of the copyright items on this site are being republished or copied to others, the source of the material must be identified and the copyright status must be acknowledged. The permission to reproduce protected material does not extend to any material on this site for which the copyright is identified as being held by a third party. Hotel Bookings with Booking.com™
We have partnered with Booking.com™. If you book your hotel through Booking.com, to view or cancel your reservation you need to go to the partner’s website that handled your reservation.
Hotel Bookings with Santorini View
Through the Platform, Santorini View provides an online booking service through which accommodation providers ("Provider") can offer their products and booking services and which Platform users can use to make reservations, too.

When providing our Services, the information we publish is based on the information we receive from the Providers, who have access to our systems and the extranet through which they have the sole responsibility for the renewal of all prices/fees/charges, availability, policies and conditions and other relevant information which appear on our Platform. Even though we make every reasonable effort to provide the Service we can neither confirm nor warrant that all information is accurate, complete, or correct, nor can we be held responsible for any errors (including obviously unintentional and typographical errors), for interruptions due to (temporary and/or partial) suspension, restoration, upgrade, or maintenance of the Platform (or for any other reason), for inaccurate, misleading, or untrue information or for non-distribution of information. Each Provider is held responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and correctness of the (descriptive) information (including prices/fees/charges, policies and conditions, and availability) displayed on our Platform.

Our Platform is not and should not be considered a means of indicating or approving quality, service level, suitability or rating (stars), accommodation type of any Provider (or facilities, space, vehicles, (main or additional) products or services) available unless otherwise stated.

Our Service is available for personal use only and not for commercial use. Therefore, you do not have the right to resell, make a direct link to, use, copy, monitor (eg with spider, scrape programs), present, download, or reproduce any content or information, software, reservations, tickets, products, or services available on our Platform, for any commercial or competitive activity or purpose.

Santorini View does not buy or (re)sell booking products or services.

When booking through the Platform, you create a contractual relationship directly with the Provider to whom you are booking. Santorini View discloses your booking details to each Provider and sends you a confirmation email to the account you have declared, in the name and on behalf of the Provider (unless expressly stated), which will include login information for Santorini View's Extranet through which you will be able to see the details of your Reservation, cancel it if you wish, and contact the Accommodation.

i) Payments and Future Payments
Santorini View may provide various payment methods in the Platform, for the (pre)payment of the booking amount by guests, including payments by bank transfer, credit card, or other electronic payment methods. Santorini View may allow a third-party payment processor to operate through the Platform for the facilitation of payments. The facilitation of payments from Santorini View to the Provider does not in any way affect the legal relationship between the Provider and the visitor.

Depending on the choice of your stay, through the Reservation process, and according to the payment policy that applies to it (the choice) you are asked to either prepay the whole amount or part of it or not at all. In cases where there is an amount left to be repaid, the charge will be made automatically on the card you have already declared at a later time. If this is not possible, you will be notified by email from Santorini View to repay this amount with a valid credit card within five days to avoid canceling your Booking. In this case, your reservation is canceled and the amount you have prepaid is not refundable according to the applicable cancellation policies.

The cancellation policy and the method of payment (i.e. the time as well as the remaining outstanding amount) will be listed on the checkout page of your Reservation which will be sent to you by email.

The Company does not store your card details, nor are they sent to the Accommodation. They are kept only in the payment provider Stripe.

You are responsible for arriving at the Acommodation within the stated time of your booking. Otherwise, you must inform Santorini View or the accommodation provider in time, so that the Reservation is not marked as "No-Show".

ii) Price analysis and possible additional charges
The prices displayed on the Platform are set and announced by the Providers. Prices are displayed for the various options or combinations of options offered by the Provider. Each option, unless otherwise stated, is a combination of the check-in date, check-out date, room type, capacity, meal (if any) and, cancellation policy. In some cases, there may be other parameters that determine a choice.

iii) Local Taxes
In accordance with the law of the Greek Government, providers of accommodation collect and reimburse accommodation tax, which is not included in the total amount of your Reservation.

iv) User Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all the activities that occur in connection with your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We have the right to close your account at any time for any reason. Our booking service is provided free of charge.

v) "Know Your Customer" Policy
The Company is committed to high standards of compliance and, within the framework of the Certification and Verification of the identity of its customers (Know Your Customer), to be against money laundering and financing of terrorist activities (Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorist Financing) in collaboration with accommodation providers. We ask the Accommodations to proceed with a Customer Identification check in order to prevent the use of its services for money laundering, financing of terrorism, and other illegal activities.
The Accommodation is obliged to certify the Guest's ID or passport upon arrival. In case the Reservation payment was made by card, the Accommodation is obliged to check that it was made by the same card. For this reason, you must have the card you made the reservation with on you.
You will then be asked to sign the "Transaction Acceptance" form which will show in detail the charges that have been made on your card regarding your Booking of the Accommodation.
In case a problem is identified in the Guest's Identification or the card, the Company reserves the right to cancel the Reservation and return the amount paid and the Accommodation to charge a new card.

vi) Travel Insurance
The price of the services does not include any travel insurance. You are responsible for providing sufficient insurance protection. We recommend that our customers acquire insurance covering medical conditions, trip cancellation, baggage, etc. We shall be exempt from any liability in the event of an accident resulting in, but not limited to, property damage or loss, injury to people, death during trip, delays, irregularities, or other occurrences beyond our control.

vii) Cancellations and Refunds
Booking cancellations are performed using the electronic Reservation System under our site. If you wish to cancel your booking, you should check the cancellation conditions stated in the Extranet and the confirmation email. If you are entitled to a refund according to the cancellation conditions, then the refund is carried through with the same payment method. The refund shall be done within seven bank working days. Cancellation fees may apply. You can cancel your reservation after logging into your account. Click the Cancel button on the booking.
If you wish to get in touch with us to proceed with the cancellation of your reservation, please be aware that we will exclusively accept requests that are submitted in writing via email or our contact form.

viii) Extraordinary Cancellation
The accommodation provider can cancel your booking on the agreed date, without observing a period of notice, if official measures, strikes, or other unforeseeable or unavoidable external conditions (in particular force majeure) make the operation of the accommodation impossible, considerably more difficult or endanger it. In this case, the amount you have paid is refunded.

Covid-19: In the event that your Reservation is canceled due to the Pandemic and you are not entitled to a refund due to the cancellation policy applicable to your booking, you may receive, in consultation with the Accommodation, a voucher for a service of equal value to the one you (pre)paid for, valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue.
There is no refund and the Voucher can only be used by you and for the same accommodation.
The Accommodation page lists its participation, or not, in the Voucher program.

ix) Disputes
In the event of fraud or unauthorized use of your credit card by a third party, please report the fraud to your credit card provider directly (in accordance with the reporting rules and procedures) and contact us immediately.

In case you dispute the transaction for an active booking, which was not made by you, the booking is canceled. If a full refund is prescribed according to the cancellation policy applicable to this booking, then you receive it. Otherwise, Santorini View reserves the right to claim the disputed amount.

In case you wish to hold the reservation, despite the dispute of the transaction, you must make a new reservation with the same cancellation policy and of an equal or higher amount. In this case, Santorini View will not claim the disputed amount and we will refund the amount paid in the previous booking.

x) Updates
Providers' information displayed on the Platform is based on information provided by the Providers, who update prices, availability, and options at their sole discretion and at their own time, through the extranet website which they access.

Santorini View tries to keep the Platform up to date. However, content updates (such as a Provider's descriptions and list of amenities) may take a few hours.

The Providers who have the right to offer their products and booking services and whose offers are displayed on the Platform have a contractual relationship with Santorini View. Santorini View has no capital relationship with the Providers.

Under this contractual relationship, Providers pay a commission (a percentage of the product price, e.g., room price) in Santorini View after the user has benefited from the Provider's Service or product (e.g., after the guest's payment and stay at the Provider's accommodation).

Providers' failure to Santorini View's obligations may result in their deregistration.

The products and services available on the Platform may not be complete. Registered Providers do not necessarily offer all of their products or services for booking on the Platform.

xi) Feedback (Ratings & Reviews)
You also agree to receive an email from us and a reminder after your tour/activity or transfer service, inviting you to complete and submit a feedback form at your desire. We reserve the right to refuse the publishing of reviews that contain insulting/malicious messages or inaccurate facts. In cases where a full or partial refund is given, we reserve the right not to display the review related to the booking.

xii) Communication with Partners
All messages between you and the Provider shall be sent via our Platform.

Tour/Transfer/Activity Bookings
We do not organize our own tours or activities but represent tour operators/suppliers in Santorini and promote and facilitate the sale of the tours/activities they organize and operate. Your booking of a service through us signifies your acceptance of the terms and conditions of our site and the respective supplier.

The company will issue a Voucher to you for every confirmed reservation, including all the required information that verifies the reservation and will be considered valid by the partner for the performance of your service. The partner alone is responsible for any complaints or demands with regard to the products or the services offered or provided as well as customers’ special requests. You agree that we will not be liable for any costs or damage arising out of a dispute or disagreement between you and any participating provider or a third party for anything that is in any way related to this site or the use of the information contained in this site, and you hereby expressively waive any such claim against us and our owner, members, officers, directors, employees, parents, subsidiaries, agents, and representatives.

The partner clarifies and covenants that the information on the services will be true, accurate and not misleading in any case. In any event, the partner is responsible for the correct and updated status of the service information, including availability.

Concerning any complete and confirmed services for which the company has only received a deposit, the partner is entitled to receive the remaining amount.

You are responsible for arriving on time at the notified meeting point. In the event that you do not turn up at the agreed meeting point of the service on the agreed date and time, then the partner reserves the right to declare your absence and depart. In this case, you are not eligible for a refund. For the transfer services, there is an extra waiting time of the driver at the prearranged meeting point, which is stated in the voucher you receive after your reservation.

i) User Account
You need to create a personal account and provide information about yourself in order to use some of the features on the site and book tours and activities. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password. You are also responsible for all activities that occur in connection with your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We have the right to close your account at any time for any reason.

ii) Travel Insurance
The price of the services does not include personal insurance. You are responsible for providing sufficient insurance protection. We recommend that our customers acquire insurance covering medical conditions, trip cancellation, baggage, etc. We shall be exempt from any liability in the event of an accident resulting in, but not limited to, property damage or loss, injury to people, death during trips, delays, irregularities, or other occurrences beyond our control.

iii) Tour Amendments and Cancellations/Refunds

a. By Tour operators
Tour operators will try their best to ensure all the tour arrangements will be the same as planned. However, to ensure safe and secure tours, Tour operators reserve the right to make amendments, including altering, postponing, and canceling tours due to weather, transportation, riots, and many other uncontrollable circumstances. Tour operators also reserve the right to cancel the tour prior to departure and refund the payment if the number of participants is inadequate to form a tour group. If the activity is suspended by the tour operator, you will receive a 100% refund of the paid amount. This refund will be sent by us through the same payment method you used when making the reservation.

b. By You
Any modifications or cancellations of a Booking must be performed using the electronic Reservation System under our site.

If you wish to cancel the tour/activity, you should check the cancellation conditions stated on the respective page of the product/service. Please read all the information in the product/service description carefully. If you are entitled to a refund according to the cancellation conditions, then the refund is carried through with the same payment method. The refund shall be done within seven bank working days.

You can cancel your reservation after logging into your account. Click the Cancel button on the booking page.
If you wish to get in touch with us to proceed with the cancellation of your reservation, please be aware that we will exclusively accept requests that are submitted in writing via email or our contact form.

The tour operator has to accept any modification you would like to make to your reservation. Otherwise, you can proceed to cancellation, for which cancellation fees may apply.

iv) Extraordinary Cancellation
The tour operator can cancel the activity on the agreed date without observing a period of notice, if weather conditions, official measures, strikes, or other unforeseeable or unavoidable external conditions (in particular force majeure) make the execution of the activity impossible, considerably more difficult or endanger it. In this case, the payment is refunded.

v) Reservation Checking and Managing
When paying a reservation, you agree to receive an e-mail from us (another notification of the reservation will be sent to the tour operator), indicating the booking details shown on the confirmation of payment.
The tour operator is responsible for proceeding with this notification form correspondingly, according to his/her service, to deliver the service reserved by the user.
It is the tour operator’s responsibility, according to information published on our site, to confirm if the tour you have booked is available.
It is the tour operator’s responsibility to agree with you on a new schedule if it were not available at the time you booked the tour.

vi) Feedback (Ratings & Reviews)
You also agree to receive an email from us and a reminder after your tour/activity or transfer service, inviting you to complete and submit a feedback form at your desire. We reserve the right to refuse the publishing of reviews that contain insulting/malicious messages or inaccurate facts. In cases where a full or partial refund is given, we reserve the right not to display the review related to the booking.

vii) Communication with Partners
All messages between you and the tour operator shall be sent via our Platform.

viii) Reserve now / Pay later
a. Under no circumstances do we share or store your payment data. All payments are made through our partner, Stripe.
b. Any future scheduled charges are based on which date you will make your booking. The exact date of the future charge will be listed in the confirmation e-mail as well as on the checkout page.
c. Should you wish to amend the date of your booking, the scheduled charge date will also be changed accordingly. In some cases, the charge on your card will take place immediately, in order to proceed with the date change.
d. In case of an inability to automatically charge, a follow-up try will take place 3 days after the original charge date. Should the transaction fail to complete, your reservation will be automatically cancelled after 6 days. Alternatively, you may follow the payment link sent to your e-mail, to complete the transaction manually.


Trip Planner

Santorini View provides the service of planning your trip to Santorini, with a list of suggestions based on our personal knowledge of the island and experience. The travel plan provided is not an organized holiday package that you need to purchase.

We offer personal advice and suggestions, which we cannot guarantee that will meet up your needs and preferences, and ensure that you will enjoy your time on the island.

Some of the suggestions provided will lead to making a reservation for a tour or activity on the island.

You can contact us with clarifying questions or changes on the trip plan that you received and we will offer you valuable travel advice.

a. Free Trip Planner Service

There is no unlimited or priority support when receiving a Free Trip Planner Service and some of your questions may not be answered. We do not provide support during your vacations on the island apart from additional help regarding a tour or activity that you have booked with Santorini View.

b. Premium Trip Planner Service

When receiving a Premium Trip Planner Service, we offer priority support continuingly during your stay on the island.

Operational times for email or phone support are from 09:00AM (Greek time) to 22:00 (Greek time).

We cannot guarantee that we can provide information about all your travel questions but we warrant that we will make our best possible effort.

c. When are you a Premium Trip Planner User?

Premium unlimited and priority service is entitled to the user that makes a reservation at a hotel through our platform, Santorini-View.com.

d. User Account

We create a personal account in order to guarantee the safety of our communication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account PIN Code. You are also responsible for all activities that occur in connection with your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We have the right to close your account at any time for any reason.

e. Feedback

You also agree to receive an e-mail from us and a reminder after your stay, inviting you to complete a feedback form if you are willing to.

Payment Security
We use the electronic payment providers PayPal and Stripe, so we never have access to numbers or payment codes on your credit card, debit card, or other kinds of payment. We only receive and store the status of the payment made, transmitted in response to the service provided by PayPal and Stripe.

Payment Currency
Payments are made in Euros on the site. The amounts displayed in currencies other than the Euro are indicative amounts given for the Visitor's convenience and based on the exchange rate at the time of booking. The conversion is based on the exchange rates provided by the European Central Bank.(https://www.ecb.europa.eu/)

Dispute Resolutions
The contractual relationship is created between the Provider and the visitor. Therefore, any claim concerning the accommodation policy or the provision of services should be addressed directly to the Provider.
The partner alone is responsible for any complaints or demands with regard to the products or the services offered or provided as well as customers’ special requests. You agree that we will not be liable for any costs or damage arising out of a dispute or disagreement between you and any participating provider or a third party for anything that is in any way related to this site or the use of the information contained in this site, and you hereby expressively waive any such claim against us and our owner, members, officers, directors, employees, parents, subsidiaries, agents, and representatives.
Whereas in case of damages in the accommodation of your reservation, the accommodation provider has the right to request their restoration.
These terms and conditions, as well as the provision of our services, are governed by Greek law. The Greek courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

Complaints
We regard a complaint as an expression of dissatisfaction towards our platform, our staff, or our partners and their provided services. A complaint can be received by email or in writing.
We can accept and review complaints up to 7 days after the offered service. After this period, you can contact the suppliers/partners directly at the contact details which are provided to you through the platform.
In any case, as a booking platform, we act as intermediaries/resellers of third-party services. According to our policy, the partners/suppliers are responsible for the services provided and any complaint or claim for compensation is decided by them.

Free Promotional Postcards
Unfortunately, we cannot replace free promotional postcards free of charge if lost or damaged in the post. Free promotional cards do not have any cash alternative. We reserve the right not to produce and not to send postcards with content such as racist, obscene, and discriminatory images or texts and postcards that, in our view, breach the rights of third parties or risk doing so. In this case, we will notify you of our refusal to process the postcard.

You explicitly consent to the use, access, disclosure, transfer, and preservation of the personal information you provide via our site, including storing, processing, and disclosing the data in accordance with these terms and our privacy policy, which is available alongside these Terms and is incorporated by reference in these Terms.

We will ship all postcards to the address specified in the recipient's details section of the postcard form. Neither we nor any delivery service that we use shall be liable for any failure to perform our Services due to incorrectly entered information (such as shipping address) when sending a postcard. It is your sole responsibility to ensure the correctness of this information before submitting the recipient's details.

We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

You agree that from time to time, we may remove the service for indefinite periods of time or cancel the service at any time, without notice to you.

Images, Photography and Logos
All photographs, images and our logos or any other third party logos on this website are copyrighted. All rights are reserved and no photograph, image or logo may be copied, reproduced or directly linked to without approval from the relevant copyright owner.

The intellectual property of our site includes the content in its entirety, such as texts, photographs, illustrations, layouts, and it is protected in accordance with the relevant national, communal and international copyright laws. On the other hand, any products or services bearing the trademarks of third companies, organizations or associations constitute their intellectual/industrial property and only they bear responsibility for them.

Reproduction, republication, information storage, sale, transmission, publication, distribution, translating, copying, uploading of the content of our site, by any manner of means, partially or concisely, without our prior permission, are expressly prohibited.
